PolyTherics PEGylation technology approved by peer view in Nature Chemical Biology
PolyTherics technology for disulfide-specific insertion of 3-carbon bridge that is used as part of a linker for conjugating PEG to a protein has been approved by some of the world's leading peers.
The paper, published in Nature Chemical Biology, explains the rationale and proof of the PEGylation technology in two therapeutic proteins - interferon alfa which is used to treat chronic hepatitis C and CD4 Fab antibody fragment which blocks the entry of HIV-1 into cells.
