PolyTherics has successfully applied its HiPEG™ and TheraPEG™ technologies to interferon (IFN) alpha (α) and IFN beta (β), respectively, and has PEGylated blood factors for Celtic Pharma. Nuron Biotech Inc has an option and licence agreement to use TheraPEG™ for their proprietary IFN beta (β). The Company is also using its technologies and other proprietary methods to develop an improved version of Amphotericin B with DNDi and to PEGylate novel peptides and proteins for both Zealand Pharma and University College London. In addition to these programmes, PolyTherics is working with a number of undisclosed pharmaceutical and biotech companies to PEGylate a range of proteins, including antibody fragments, and peptides.
